At GFI Academy, our mission is to make soccer accessible to all by fostering personal growth, teamwork, and excellence on and off the field. We are dedicated to providing high-quality training, financial aid, and life enrichment programs for players to reach their full potential while cultivating a passion for the game and building a strong sense of community.

UNDERSERVED YOUTH RECEIVED FINANCIAL BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
GFI Academy has provided financial based scholarships in the amount of $544,857 to 438 underserved youth soccer players in the Houston area.
Our enrichment program

In 2024, we introduced the Players of Life enrichment program—a transformative 12-year journey designed to shape youth athletes into well-rounded individuals. This comprehensive program is divided into three age-specific sub-programs, each built around three essential pillars: Soccer, Leadership, and Social Responsibility.
More than just a soccer initiative, Players of Life focuses on holistic development, teaching skills that extend beyond the field. By fostering character, leadership, and a sense of community, the program equips participants to excel both on the pitch and in life.

Our goal is to develop well-rounded, highly skilled players. Through our Individual Development Plan, we focus on building technical, tactical, mental, and physical strength to bring out the best in every player.

Leadership
We shape leaders who inspire on and off the field. Through Player’s Life, we cultivate responsibility, integrity, and a growth mindset, preparing players for success in all aspects of life.

education
We offer enrichment programs designed to support player development beyond the field, featuring courses in Sport Psychology, Nutrition, Social Media Awareness, Financial Literacy, and Dating Awareness.

We believe in giving back. Through community service, fundraising challenges, and our GFI Gives initiative, we inspire players to make a positive impact.

Guided by a Board of Directors, we set clear goals and carefully plan our budget each year based on anticipated funding. Our commitment to financial transparency ensures that every contribution is used responsibly to benefit our programs and community.
